Day 20/365 - Curve

I think I'm getting lazy... I haven't really been making any effort to take pictures lately... and it's only day 20 :-) I think I'm just tired. This is a pic of something I really cant do without... I'm an addict....

19/365 - Another Sunset

The fiery sun of my passions
evaporates the love lakes of my soul...

These words (from Saul Williams' 'Untimely Meditations') came to mind when I looked out the window and saw this beautiful sunset. It's probably obvious but I just LOVE sunsets and I LOVE the sky. No two sunsets are ever the same.

18/365 - Cappo

This is actually a day late. I've been having pc trouble (I think it's time to get a mac). I was a bit tired and frustrated with work and my pc and felt lazy so I didn't shoot much and this brotha saved the day...
(I'm actually cheating time... check the post date lol ... shhh)

Day 17/365 - Rap-It-Up!

I was called out my house tonight by an old lady, she asked for mom but she wasnt here. When I asked if I could help she was a bit reluctant but after a few seconds she exclaimed "Yes!" then in a wisper she asked "You got any condoms?" I was a bit hesitant, checking her age in my mind, but before I could answer she said "but you're a young girl, you should have some. You should never go without". then she said. "Listen, little girl, my husband hasn't touched me since last year and now he's ready and I aint prepared. Help me!" After giving her the last two, she shouted "but this wont do!" The shock wouldnt allow me to hold the laughter in anymore. "Don't laugh, this is serious business" she said. "You should always use a condom, as old as I am I'm still afraid of AIDS! Use it all the time!"

Day 13/365 - Mom

Mom has been back and forth between natural and processed hair and has always been uncertain about what she should do with it and I've always tried to convince her to get locks. She finally gave in!

Day 10/365 - Just Before The Sun Sets

It appears work has fully taken me over... I begin to find things to help me keep what's left my sanity while at work... view from another window.

Day 9/365 Lost My Marbles!!

I started collecting marbles a few years ago... and I think I stopped about a year after I had started. I had a pretty decent collection. These are the cleanest/prettiest of whats left of the collection. I think I now only have just under 200.

Day 8/365 - Evening Sky

I love the sky... This is the view I get from where I mostly sit at work. Right now... this view is the only thing I love about work!

Day 7/365 - For Our Sins?

Another late one... actually just took this.

Am I a religious person? I use to be.... but who needs religion when you have direct contact with God. :-)

Day 6/365 - ...

...well it's a bit late... not much to say...

Day 5/365 - The Other Passion

I've always loved photography, I love cameras and believe it or not I liked being photographed, but I never knew I could draw until the end of 7th grade. It was summer and my brother was always busy playing video games with his friends, (not that I really wanted to hang out with him anyway) I was alone and bored stiff. One day I decided to go through old news paper for puzzles and found some Donald Duck comics. I found a picture of Donald that I thought was simple enough and started sketching. I was so surprised and so pleased with myself when it was done. I can draw!

Day 4/365 - Checkers Anyone?

I've seen so many chess pictures... I can't say I remember seeing any of checkers. I like chess but checkers has always been kinda special to me. I can remember playing the game with my godfather a lot when I was younger, and I can't remember ever beating him.

Day 3/365 - It's Never Too Late

I didn't have work today, but I was a bit busy, so I didn't have much time to shoot. I managed to get 17 shots and this was the best.

Worried that I wouldn't be able to get good shots because it was so dark... I had missed the sunset and I didn't have my only f1.8. I ran up to the roof anyway, hoping that something would be up there waiting for me... scanned the place a few times and was disappointed. So I ran down to get some pins and on my way back up I chanted in my head, "It's not too late, it's not too late, it's not too late..." and it wasn't!

Day 2/365 - It's Night!!

So here I am again... at work... IN THE NIGHT!!!

It was a very interesting day at work... very interesting... and I'll leave it at that. So in the midst of all the "very-interesting-ness" that was going on, (the windows had to be open... I actually knew what I wanted to shoot and had been begging for them to be open... my wish was granted) outside my window this picture was waiting.

Day 1/365 - Employee of the Month!

Day 1 of my 365 and the very first day of the year, I had to go to work (yes... work on New Years Day!!! damn...). So I took my cam to work but I was pretty much confined to my seat for almost the whole day (well.... not really. I was just lazy) On my desk sit these lovely trophies (I don't think I'll ever see my name on one o these if all I do is take pictures all day).
